I’m Matt Warnes,

aka The Blank Expressive

I’m a neurodivergent, queer artist working recreationally in Norfolk, where my “proper” job is as a museum educator (which I love). I’m largely an introvert, so I love cozying up with my partner, house chicken and two cats.

I work in a range of mediums and draw a variety of subjects, but, as birds are my main special interest, I find they tend to dominate my focus!

Feel free to commission me for artworks: When I’m not drawing for myself, I like to create things for others, run workshops and display my work alongside others’ in exhibitions.
